[F.A.Q] Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q)
FAQ is to help people easily find solutions to problems – if it is not on the FAQ it is to be sent through a ticket and will be added to the FAQ when solved.
Please do if you have manually found a solution to a problem please send it to a administrator or any other staff member, then we will add it to the thread as fast as we can.
To find something easy use;
(Windows) ctrl + f
(Macintosh) cmd + f
Then you type in, use simple and related words, your problem such as;
Launcher.
And it will highlight the solutions with launcher in it.
Pre-CBT
Q: What will the money making way be?
A: For now, Elure
Q: If elure, how much will it sell for?
A: Elure stacks will sell for 10 gold.
Q: Will there be custom maps?
A: Yes there will be custom maps.
Q: Will classes be balanced?
A: Yes, classes will be balanced, we want a well-balanced community
Q: What will level cap be?
A: We will be starting the cap at 79, but every week it will increase.
Common Errors
Q: My patcher won't work. It tells me some .dat file is locked. What do I do?
A: Right-click your "Fate Patcher" and choose "Run as administrator".
Q: When I start my game, it says "Cannot find FateOnline.exe". What do I do?
A: First off, you have to allow "FateOnline.exe" in your Virus Protection program.
(The best thing is to allow the whole Sin Online folder). When you have done that.
once you have downloaded that you have to put it in your "fate Online" folder.
And your game should work!
Q: When I try to log in, it tells me "Please check ID or password". But I registered to
the forums. What should I do?
A: Forum accounts are just for forums. You need to register a game account.

Q: How can I become staff?
A: When we are recruiting, there will be a forum post about it.
Keep a close eye on the forums!
Q: How do I make money?
A: You will be able to make money through elure. They will sell for 10 gold per stack
Q: What will level cap be in OBT?
A: The level cap will be reset to 79 from 115 (CBT Final Cap) and all characters will be deleted following closure of CBT, we will be gradually increasing the cap from 79, but not every week as in CBT.
Q: How do we know who is a staff member?
A: Staff members will be indicated with a tag such as [Owner] / [Admin] / [GM] / [EM] / [CL] and no one else will have them apart from donators who will receive [VIP]
Q: How do we acquire points for item mall?
A: You can acquire points for the item mall through posting on the forum and donating,
